Comfort of home

Pet care experience

Loving family here for your family pup! We decided to join Rover after using the boarding services ourselves when we traveled and couldn't bring our four legged family members with us. We want to be able to offer to others what we were searching for. A calm, safe, loving home and family where someone is around the majority of the day. We offer a sweet and friendly doggy playmate- Bailey, our black lab, who is a gentle, calm, and typically very submissive girl. We are a non smoking home, offer lots of attention and love, and have a large fenced in yard! Our family loves dogs, we foster on occasion, and my husband and I both grew up with dogs and have 30 plus years of experience caring for them. We look forward to giving your furry family member a place that feels like home while you need to be away. We are always happy to send lots of pictures and updates to keep your mind at ease.

Bonnie and her family are really God sent people. We are so grateful we found them and that they were able to take care of our dog, Yoshi when we were out of country. Yoshi stayed with them for 2 weeks. Every day, Bonnie would send us updates and pics. My sons looked forward to her updates and pics every morning when they woke up. Bonnie really made our trip more enjoyable knowing that Yoshi was in such great hands. Before we left, Bonnie made sure she understood everything needed to care for Yoshi. They are a loving family with a gentle dog, Bailey. Yoshi and Bailey got along great. Overall, we can’t be happier leaving Yoshi in their care and will for sure leave Yoshi with them again in the future. Thank you Bonnie and family ❤️

I wish I could give TEN stars!! We could not have found a more perfect dog sitter for our sweet lab Bubbles!! This was our first time using Rover. We searched and searched for a sitter and we kept striking out. Needing a sitter for ten whole days is a really big deal. Bonnie and Steve are such sweet people and their home was like a second home for Bubbles. They really did care for her as if she was part of their family!! Bubbles got along really well with their dog Bailey and the photos of them playing together were so fun! I think my favorite photos were of Bubbles and their daughter. They were so sweet!! She would read stories to Bubbles or just hang out together and snuggle. Bonnie provided daily updates with many pictures which we loved! They played outside almost everyday, went for walks, had a pool day! Our vacation was SO much better because we didn’t have to worry about how Bubbles was doing. I truly cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of her. I bet Bubbles can’t wait to go back!

Bonnie and Steve cared for my dog, Miller, an anxious and at times temperamental German Sheperd/Rottweiler mix. He was cared for in our home (we were neighbors at the time) for a little over a week while we are on vacation. Although Miller did not stay in their home as he is not great with other dogs, they provided him with the same level and frequency of care. He was let out several times throughout the day, given plenty of food and clean water, and was given many opportunities for exercise in the yard with his favorite fetch it toy. To ease my mind, Bonnie even sent many pictures and video of Miller playing in the yard with their eldest daughter. He was one happy boy! I would highly suggest Bonnie and Steve to care for your fur baby. The amount of love and care they provide is genuine and honest, and will give you such peace of mind while you are away!

We strive to make your dog feel safe and at home, like they are part of our family here. We only watch one dog at a time (or two, if from the same family). So you never need to worry if there will be extra dogs here that your pup may not get along with or if they are getting enough attention. Our backyard is fenced in to keep your dog safe, exercised, and entertained! We also have a 50 ft lead that can be used in the yard if you know your dog can try to be an escape artist. We do own chickens that are kept in their own fenced/enclosed area. Most dogs are curious and watch them, but leave them be. If you know your dog has a very high prey drive or if they end up trying to dig in, or get the chickens we may need to use the 50 ft lead or a leash at times in the yard to prevent any issues. *Dogs will be supervised in the yard at all times.* We do require that your dog is crate trained for the moments we cannot completely supervise and for if/when we need to leave the house for a bit. Some dogs can get nervous in a new place and a crate is a great source of comfort and security for them. We do own one large wire dog crate that we can easily set up, so no need to bring one unless you prefer your own. We can take puppies only if they are crate trained and house broken.
