Hi, I'm Bonnie. I'm new to the Sacramento-area and new to Rover. But I'm not new to DOGS! I moved here in January to attending nursing school at Sac State. I'm returning to school after having owned a small food business for many years. Between classes and homework, I'd love to visit with or walk your dog. I have a genuine love for getting to know doggos. There's no better way to do that than to get outside together, play a round of fetch or snuggle on the couch. For eight wonderful years, I was also a pet owner. My sweet guy, Russ, passed away last year but he taught me to enjoy life, to treasure the small things, and to value the time we have with one another. I also learned a lot about taking care of pets with medical needs, administering medications, and understanding the needs of pets when they aren't feeling their best while helping my dog through two rounds of cancer, chemotherapy and a limb amputation. Russ loved people so much, but he occasionally had a hard time with other dogs, so I have lots of experience helping in these situations too.
