Pet care experience
I have been a dog and cat mom for more than 30 years, and have cared for my grand dog and cat for the last 3 years! I have owned 3 dogs, and 3 cats over the years. The first dog was Jazzbo, a mixed Briard; then Rocky, a lovable Golden Retriever, and currently own Olympia, an energetic rescue that is a German Shepherd mix. The cats were Smokey, a sweet gray mixed breed; Leigh, a beautiful teal point Himalayan, and Oynx the friendliest most loving cat ever. I am retired from the Federal Government. I am available for pet watching or walking on most days from morning until early evening. I am available for set schedules when you are vacationing and/or flexible schedules. I will visit and play with your pet in your home, or walk your pet in their neighborhood where there is familiarity for their comfort.

Bonnie did a fantastic job watching our two cats while we were away. She was a calming presence for one very skittish kitty; they both warmed up to her right away. She communicated with us consistently and asked questions as they arose. She also keeps a spreadsheet of pet needs, schedules, etc. I felt so comfortable having her with my pets; I give her the highest recommendation and will definitely have her watch our kitties again.
Bonnie was amazing! She was so sweet and came over to meet our cat Wilbur and see where everything was before we left for our trip. She kept me updated with pictures and spent quality time with Wilbur. Highly recommend and will definitely be asking her to watch Wilbur again :)

A typical day
We will walk in the dog's neighborhood. For longer walks we can walk at Lake Accotink or Burke Lake. If your dog enjoys to fetch a ball we will play in their backyard.
