Pet care experience
I love animals so much. I've had many different animals—mainly dogs and cats. I lost my 16-year-old senior Yorkie Maltese mix, and I'm devastated. I have wanted to get into Veterinary Care, but I'm not sure I can handle all that comes with that. The next best thing is helping others out with their pets and treating them like they're my own. What I mean by that is I would do anything for your pet to ensure they were okay. I've been giving subcutaneous fluids and medication to my dog, who passed away, for about two years so that I can do that for you. I also understand the delicacy of a senior dog and feel that I have the experience to make anybody feel comfortable trusting me to ensure the care for their family member. Besides that, I've had animals all my life. I know a lot about them, and I feel like I would be an asset to anybody looking to find a trusted person to put their mind at ease when they can't be there for their pet for any reason. I know from firsthand experience that it's hard to trust someone to care for your pet as you would. I only count about three people total with mine, LOL, but I want to be that trusted person for you. I can handle dogs of any size and any age. I will love them like my own.
Reviews
Bonnie was awesome! She’s so loving with animals and was great about sending photos and videos.
I can’t recommend Bonnie enough. She is responsive in advance of the visit; focused on the detail necessary to ensure she your pet’s routine is consistent while you are away; and she is generous with updates and photos while you are traveling. But most of all, Bonnie is the BEST because she truly loves animals. Bonnie spends the time and gives your pet(s) the attention necessary to make them feel loved in your absence!! I have two cats. Bonnie won Ollie over immediately. His sister, Vivi, is shy around new people. I always worried traveling but I don’t anymore. By day 3, I was getting photos and videos of Vivi playing, rolling over on her back, and being brushed and patted.
We wouldny leave our pup with anyone else, Bonnie is the best!
I always travel with peace of mind knowing Bonnie is checking in on our babies!

If I were caring for the pets at my home, I would make sure that they had their bowls, their bed, and whatever would bring them comfort and what their routine was at home. I have a large backyard, and your dog would never be left alone. If I were caring for an animal at someone else's home, I would ensure I knew the exact routine and what would make their pet most comfortable in their absence.

Information Bonnie K. would like to know about your pet
I, of course, would need to know of any medical/behavioral issues beforehand to ensure that we're both comfortable with the details of the care required. Also, how they interact with other dogs, being reactive in certain situations, or will dart out the door, eat certain things -- anything I need to know ro keep your dog safe. I will do my best to accommodate every dog's special or specific needs,
A typical day
I live in a dog-friendly and positive neighborhood where, for the most part, people seem to know the rules about approaching a pet and asking if it's okay to say hi, so we would most definitely go for walks around the neighborhood. If they are small enough and I get permission, they're more than welcome to come on errands with me. We would talk about what that would look like and what it means. Of course, there would be playing and treats, if allowed, and maybe some games and interaction with other animals if that was the plan. And, of course, just hanging out and giving whatever they need. If there is something you would specifically like me to do for mental stimulation or physical activity or whatever they need, that will all be a part of our day.

I am flexible for the most part; I have kids in school. I can also be available at the last minute. So, there is much room to work with you if you need something. I also can easily fit you into my daily routine, as my dog was a part of mine. Cats too! ** I do respectfully request that if you contact me for a potential booking, please respond to me within 24 hours. When I get a request, it's essential to me I can accept it. At times, I will miss out on another booking because of this, please let me know either way, I would appreciate it so much!*
