This is a difficult review to leave. I think Bonnie would be fine if you have an extremely calm, well-trained, older dog. She watched my senior dog and a young boisterous puppy who has not yet learned not to puppy bite or leave older dog alone. I met with her twice beforehand, showed her all the techniques to maintain training, and she indicated she was up to the task and had experience. I started receiving messages 2 days into my trip that gave me the impression she did not want to be there anymore. I was 1800 miles away and working 16 hour days (with my regular sitters at the same meeting). She asked what my backup plan was..SHE WAS MY BACKUP PLAN!!! She then texted me numerous times per day saying she didn't feel well and asking if I had Advil/Tylenol (I replied, "in my purse"; keep in mind I am walking distance from a store), what she should do with puppy if she needed to "be sick", and texting my neighbor (emergency contact) to ask is she could help/take over. Created TONS of stress while I was away...I tried to change my flight to return home (at the risk of my job), but too much money to change. When I returned, the puppy was out of control and thought he ruled the house (attacking older dog and me, marking everywhere, etc.). I was up until 2am re-establishing who was in charge and am still trying to "undo" all the bad habits the puppy developed while I was gone. She did feed, water, and give insulin injections and dogs were alive (older dog seemed traumatized). Conclusion: If you have an older, well-trained, extremely calm dog, Bonnie will (probably) do okay. If you have a young dog, or one with any challenges, I would look elsewhere.

Bonnie was great with my dog. She made sure my dog was fed and always had water in her bowl. She took her on regular walks and even sent us photos and videos throughout the time she was watching my dog. She made sure to follow all the practices we’re using in training our dog so that her training and daily schedule would remain relatively consistent. I would definitely let her watch my dog again!
