Come play at the farm!
Pet care experience
Does your dog love to be with other dogs? If so, they can come be part of our pack! We have a fenced in play area and a large covered play area on our 17 acre farm. Our drop off and pick up hours are from 7-9am and 6-7pm. We no longer schedule dogs for Saturday evening pick up or drop off. We require a meet and greet before any first stay to ensure the comfort and safety of all dogs in our care. New clients should allow at least one week advance notice to allow time for a meet and greet. We add $5 per night to administer veterinarian prescribed medication. We have been rescuing and fostering dogs for many years so we are used to giving meds and dealing with special needs. Just be sure to let us know what your fuzzy friend needs so we can be prepared and not surprised. Your pet must be at least 22 pounds (so they won't get hurt) and they must get along with other dogs. While we are experienced in handling dog aggression issues, we don’t accept dogs who have issues with other dogs. About this sitter: My husband and I rescued German Shepherd Dogs for decades. Plenty of birds and squirrels hang out here at the farm. And, the outside fenced area has full view of goats, geese and ducks. We've been dog lovers all of our lives. Both of us were raised with dogs and feel like life wouldn't be complete without them to share it with :) We love being surrounded by furry friends like yours! Meet the farm residents - Chickens, Saxony ducks, American Buff Geese, Several Horses (including a miniature), San Clemente Goats, Barn cats Either my husband or I are here most of the time as he is medically retired. We care for your fur baby as well as the animals here at the farm. Your pet has access to outdoors and indoors on demand. We bring everyone in and limit outdoor access when the temperature is over 95 or below 45 for their safety. Someone is here at the house most of the time as my husband is medically retired. We do have appointments that take us away from time to time but not very long. We have two fenced in play areas so it’s easy to keep more active dogs separated from less active dogs. We keep the older dogs indoors most of the time because they prefer to be couch potatoes. We let the dogs decide how much activity they would like to have.
Reviews
Nothing but good things to say! They send daily updates and our dog always comes back home tired and happy 💕 So thankful we found such a wonderful place to leave our dog when we visit our family overseas.
Our dogs love staying here! They look forward to playing with the dogs. They are always well cared for and happy. We feel very comfortable leaving them there. They provide us with peace of mind when we are unable to take them with us.
We appreciate the love and care our pup gets when we have to leave him behind.
Sheba always enjoys herself!!

Information Bonnie D. would like to know about your pet
It is a farm so your pet needs to have flea and tick protection to stay here. We also need to know if your dog has any medical concerns, habits or fears that they need help with. Does your dog have favorite activities or tricks that they enjoy. Anything interesting or special about your furry friend. We do require that you provide current veterinary information prior to the stay so that we can verify that your friend is up to date on their rabies and has a relationship with a vet. We require a meet & greet at our home for you and your pet so that you can see where your pet will be staying and they can meet our dog.
A typical day
IMPORTANT- Drop off and pick up is either between 7-9am or between 6-7pm any day of the week except Saturday evening. If you can't pick up by 7pm, you will need to book an extra night. If you need an am drop off but can't drop off during normal am hours, please schedule an evening drop off the night before. We will try to work with you if you give us advanced notice and your request for schedule accommodation is reasonable. Day care is not offered on weekends or holidays. The play yard is plenty big and full of activity so walks aren’t necessary. Your dog sleeps anywhere they want to unless you need them to be crated - we have extra dog beds so they can sleep on those or anywhere they like. We try not to let them on the people beds. Time I'll spend with your dog George stays home and works the farm but may make an occasional run to town. They won't be lonely or crated for more than a couple of hours at most. They will be fed twice a day with our dog and have free run of the house and play yard. Outside time is supervised. We play ball, hide & seek and tug when we're together. They will always have other dogs to hang out with, fresh air and outdoor activity.
