I have owned and cared for many animals over the years, including dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and birds. I have my own Belgian Malinois who I have trained extensively over the last eight years, and specialize in high-energy working dogs. I also have a wonderful ex-feral cat who is older than the pyramids. As a sitter, I am calm, reliable, safety-focused, and detail oriented. I will provide frequent updates throughout the stay, and pay close attention to your pet's behavior to make sure they are adjusting well. I believe in treating animals with respect and kindness, while using reward-based systems to achieve desirable behaviors.

We were quite nervous about having a pet sitter. And then we met Bonnie. We knew after the meet and greet that she would be a perfect fit for our 2 German Shepherds. Bonnie sent us many updates and pictures. She always let us know when she was leaving and when she came back. Most importantly, the boys LOVED Bonnie. I trust my dogs and if they like her, the humans like her. We will be taking some trips now we have someone we can trust with our furkids. We highly recommend Bonnie!

Bonnie went above and while caring for our cat. It is evident she not only has a heart for pets, but wants owners to be without worry while away. Communication was great while we were traveling, and if she had a question she didn’t hesitate to ask. I recommend Bonnie without hesitation!

I completely understand why a pet owner may be hesitant to hire a stranger to come into their home and care for their beloved animals - I have even canceled my own travel plans in the past because I just wasn't able to find a sitter who I trusted completely. I would say that my ideal client is someone who shares that hesitancy and wants absolute peace of mind that the person they hand their keys to is going to show up, when they are supposed to, every time they are supposed to, and treat their home and animals with the utmost respect. My pets are my life, and I take the responsibility of other people's pets just as seriously. A little bit about me: I am a 29-year-old transplant from Washington State, currently living in Moore while my husband is stationed at Tinker AFB. I'm very active, and enjoy running and indoor rock climbing in my free time. I am drug-free, smoke-free, and child-free, am comfortable visiting homes with video surveillance systems inside the house, and would never invite a guest to one of my visits or open the door for someone I don't know. Before enrolling in classes at OU, I worked for almost ten years in the mortgage industry, most recently as a mortgage counseling specialist at Navy Federal Credit Union. I'm a super organized and detail-oriented person, and I believe that you can never leave someone with too much information about your pet! Before I show up for a job, I'll make sure that I know your pet's feeding and potty schedules, any pertinent medical history such as allergies or past injuries, any behavioral quirks, and of course, their favorite ways to connect and have fun with their people. I'll also make sure that I have the contact information for your preferred veterinary clinic and an emergency contact just in case.
A typical day
I can keep up with your high-energy German Shepherd and tire them out on a run, or tuck your 20-year old cat into bed. I love taking my own dog to Veteran's Park and would be happy to load yours up in my car and take them there, or just walk or run through your neighborhood if you prefer.

I am currently a full-time student at OU (at age 29, I am finally getting my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science!) and attend in-person classes during some week days, but shoot me a message and I can probably work some flexibility into my schedule to accommodate your needs.
