Pet care experience
I got my first cat when I was five years old and have loved them all my life. Over the years, I have had many cats, almost all rescues. I was a volunteer for Madison Cat Project (formerly Dane County Friends of Ferals) for over seven years. I moved to Menomonie in 2018 and started volunteering for Dunn County Humane Society in 2022. I love cats and have a special connection to them, but I love all animals! If you’re going on vacation or just need an occasional visit, I would be happy to help out! (Wouldn’t it be nice to go away for a while and come back to cats with full tummies and clean litter boxes?) You can trust me to give loving care to your cats and small dogs. I will keep you informed by sending you daily updates and photos. Animals (especially cats) are my true passion. For several years, I took care of my neighbor’s menagerie (including a dog, two cats, fish and a parrot) when they traveled and I loved it. I’m retired, have an excellent work ethic and would love to meet your furry or feathery family!

Bonnie was great to work with. She was responsive and visited our home to meet our cat and go over the routine a couple of weeks before our trip. She provided regular updates about her visits and kept in touch with us while we were away. She was attentive to our cat's individual needs and personality; by the end of the week, our kitty was warming up to Bonnie. She was prompt and reliable, as well as willing to stay longer if needed. We had a great experience and hope to book with Bonnie again in future.

I do not usually accept jobs for dogs. However, if you have a small dog that likes to go on short walks, I will consider that.
