My family first got a Golden Retriever puppy when I was five years old. Dogs have brought endless joy to my life ever since! Growing up, I absolutely shared in the responsibilities of feeding, dog walks, bathroom trips, and cleaning up the wide assortment of messes that can be generated by a pup. I lovingly shared in these responsibilities for seventeen years before moving away. Since leaving home, I have delighted in pet sitting for friends---mostly looking after dogs ranging in age from 3-17, and 6-25lbs (I still love big dogs too!). I've done some cat check-ins as well. For the last six years, I've been in a relationship with a cat lover, and have since grown to be one myself as well. I'm a proud cat Dad to a (mostly indoor) 12 pounder named Dott. I continue to try to win her affection through feeding her, doing ribbon routines and scooping her litterbox.
