I like to have as much information as possible about your dog; that way I can tailor my care to their specific needs. Tell me all about their routines, temperament, socialization, training cues, medical needs, favored walk routes, anxieties, and anything else you would like me to know.

Depending on where you like to take your dog and how familiar I am with your neighborhood, I’ll work up a nice walking route for us. I would avoid busier streets for the first few walks, until I am more familiar with what may spook him etc. If that is unavoidable, I always have good leash control and am aware of our surroundings. I will take them to a dog park only if you request it, and the dog has been there multiple times and had fun and not had negative encounters. I always pay attention to the weather for walks due to hot asphalt, freezing snow or ice, humidity etc. I know our family dog does not like hot weather so we walk him in am or evening during the warmer months. When your dog is with me we will get up at her regular morning time; take her to relieve herself, and feed and water her. Maybe a walk if she likes to. If I need to go out , keep her secure in the area assigned for her, if she doesn’t have free reign of the home. I’ll complete additional feedings at your specified times, and she’ll get ample potty breaks and playtime with me. I’ll be sure to check in with her family via email and send a photo. We always appreciated hearing and seeing our pooch with out dogs when we were away.
