Experienced dog lover, best prices!

Pet care experience

Since my youngest years I've been surrounded by animals, dogs, pet squirrels, horses, hedgehogs, ferrets, raccoons, cats, even helping cats deliver their kittens. I'm equipped with first aid/CPR, I'm also a trainer, and groomer!! I've had many moments of being up close and personal with exotics (lions, tigers, and bears! Oh My!) as my family is friends with an exotics animal keeper. So my years of experience with all size and breeds of dogs, and animals in general equips me with the knowledge to care for your fluffy family member. Being medically certified, and learning, and having hands on training with animals both giant and small and everything in between as a child and throughout the years of my life by a certified Vet. boasts of the compassion I have for people, and animals. My passion for animals ensures that not only will your companion be well taken care of. With us you can be rest assured your fluffy family member will be in the best care you'll find and ever need, with the best prices in the area!

WARNING: DON’T BOOK WITH BOBBI IF YOU WANT YOUR DOG BACK WITHOUT HAVING TO LITERALLY BREAK INTO HER DUPLEX! We were hesitant to use Rover.com, but have had a few people tell us that they had good experiences, but they live in other cities. This was not one of those cases. The prime reason we didn't try Rover.com sooner is due to the fact that people in this world are hard to trust. Everybody has heard horror stories about issues when they leave their pets with others... pets getting lost, dying, severely sick or injured, etc. We decided that kenneling her was probably not enjoyable for animals, so this is why we decided to try the top rated sitter in the Toledo area. We have a vacation in the future, but we wanted to see how the dog / the sitter would be for a shorter stay. We had a wedding last night, so decided to try one night while we were gone. We decided this should be a short enough span to get a feeling on how things would go. We dropped our dog off yesterday afternoon at approximately 1pm. We walked up to the duplex (per her profile it states she lives in a house, so this is lie #1) and knocked on the door, then waited. And waited. And waited. We knew that we were heard because we could hear running around inside and heard a “just a minute!". We were a few minutes early, so we thought they were just putting the final touches on everything. We stood outside for a sufficiently long enough time to where we started to feel awkward and honestly reconsidering leaving the dog with them, turning around, and cancelling. One of her kids eventually answered the door. I saw somebody else's review saying that their dog smelled like an ashtray after staying, but decided that someone was just being picky - believe me ... they were not. We walked into Bobbi's house and were instantly greeted with an overwhelming odor from indoor smoking. The entire house has been smoked in, and smoke in recently - Bobbi is NOT a "non-smoker" as stated on her profile (Lie #2). Upon introductions, Bobbi stated that her daughter was sick the night prior... We then all collectively looked over at her daughter and she was literally running around and playing normally. We joked around saying, "Well she definitely feels better now!" and had a quick laugh. We left our dog with her and had a great time at the wedding. The pickup time was set for noon. Approximately 2 hours before we were supposed to pick our dog up I received a text from Bobbi stating that she was taking her daughter to the ER and that she would be in touch. At 2:00pm we still heard nothing from Bobbi, and started to get a bit worried. What the heck is happening with our dog when she's supposed to be let out "every 1-2 hours"?! We tried texting which we received no answer. After about 30 minutes, we tried calling but her phone was off and went to voicemail. WHAT THE HECK?! At 3pm we called Rover.com and they said they would try to get in touch with her. They asked us if WE had an emergency contact for her!!? We found out after we finally got our dog back that Rover.com does not have an emergency contact for Bobbi - if she doesn’t answer her phone, then … well … OH WELL! So here we sit panicking about the whereabouts of our dog! At 3:30 we still had heard nothing and were beyond the panicking stage. We decided to blindly go to her house and knock on her door. After knocking, we could hear people moving around inside, but nobody came to the door and nobody said, “Just a minute!” like before. WE ENDED UP HAVING TO OPEN THE DOOR AND WALK INTO HER DUPLEX TO GET OUR DOG OUT OF THIS PERSON’S HOUSE BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T ANSWER THE DOOR EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE HOME!!! Bobbi was sleeping upstairs with her phone off while her children were playing downstairs!!! I honestly am wondering what the heck is going on with this sitter - are the animals being taken care of by the children while she sleeps? I know a lot of complaints are that she doesn’t text at all until the late hours of the night, so I’m wondering if the kids take pictures and she uploads them at odd hours of the night? We’re contacting Rover.com and demanding our money back and also demanding that Bobbi is removed from Rover.com so others don’t experience the same thing. I don’t know exactly what’s going on with her house, but if you care about your pet, you need to look elsewhere. We’re going to try to find a friend and if all else fails, we’ll find a kennel that we hate the least.

I never met Bobbie. Her cell phone number didn't work. I received a few pictures once a day of him on his leash and laying on the floor in different positions. I only received text messages back late at night. When I picked my dog up he smelled like an ashtray.

Bobbie was great and so sweet with my dog! She sent me pictures of him while I was gone and worked around my schedule for pick up and drop off. :)

Bobbie was very kind and went the extra mile to take care of our pooch while we were away. I definitely hope to keep working with her!
