Pet care experience
Hello my name is Bobbie Jo, I love dogs and I have my own Weimaraner who is a trained service animal. I work from home a lot. I pride myself in being reliable and flexible. Coming up, I was surrounded by dog breeders, showers and trainers, giving me a plethora of valuable knowledge and understanding of dogs and working with them. I am active and love to run. I am a half marathoner! I have built relationships with so many clients that have become my repeat clients. Many of them are family to me now! I am so passionate about dogs that I am looking into opening a Pet Club for owners to bring their pets for the best care, grooming, boarding, and training! I offer significant discounts to repeat clients after the first booking! Thank you for considering me!
Reviews
Bobbie Jo was amazing to work with! She took amazing care of my pupper during the holiday season. I will absolutely be using her again and again!!
Bobbie Jo was accommodating. Flexible and cared for our pup for the days we were away. She also sent me updates while we were away. She helped me not worry about him while we were gone. Thank you Bobbie Jo!
Very responsive and my dogs love her! They’ll visit her again
What an absolute delight. Bobbie Jo was friendly, informative of my pets stay and behavior and overall maintaining communication before, during and after my kiddos stay. I shall continue utilizing her services in the near future. Thanks Bobbie Jo :)

Pets are always kennelled or placed behind baby gates for meals and while I am walking other pets. If your pet will not do well in crates (without excessive barking or trying to break out) or behind baby gates, I am likely not a good fit for your pet.

Information Bobbie Jo S. would like to know about your pet
Please do not change your pets food or feed them anything unusual the week leading up to their stay. A change in pets food, paired with the nervousness of being away from home can create significant tummy upset and forces sitters into a situation where the pet may need to seek care from a vet (persistent diarrhea is common if pets food is changed abruptly and incorrectly). Please do not put us both in a situation where we have to find another sitter mid-stay. Pets that can't control their bowels or having accidents due to this will be asked to be picked up immediately. Pets must be manageable on leashes to book with me - due to a past serious injury from a pet untrained on a leash, I am not willing to make any exceptions to this. If your dog weighs more than 50lbs it MUST not jerk when leashed. If your pet does have issues on a leash, another sitter will likely be a better fit. I try not to use kennels or baby gates, however, I always contain pets seperately when they are eating or when they are taking turns to go potty. If your pet barks or tries to aggressively escape kennels and baby gates, another sitter may be a better fit for your pet.
A typical day
Pets here are put on a routine. Everyone goes potty and are fed their meals around typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours. Pets are taken outside for a 4th and final potty break between 8pm and 10pm. This can be more or less per pets needs and pet owner's instruction.
