I have a lifetime of experience with my own pets and have over 8 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine as a technician and manager. I am very comfortable administering medications, providing special needs care, walking, and feeding. I am available to provide boarding in my home or yours. * *PLEASE NOTE: I do work a full time job now but your baby is more than welcome to keep my dog, Wash, company. There are options for potty breaks throughout the day.* If your fur baby is staying in my home, we will arrange for a meet-n-greet beforehand. This will take place in a neutral location so that our dogs can get to know each other. Once I have accepted your reservation, we will arrange a drop off time that is convenient for both of us. At drop off, I may take your dog and mine on an introductory walk that lasts from 30-60 minutes. During this time, they will get the chance to sniff and meet in neutral locations and the length of the walk will be determined by them. During their stay, they will get a walk with my dog at least once a day in the morning, as long as weather permits. Most days we will also take a shorter walk in the afternoon/evening. Exercise is an important part of easing separation anxiety and this gives your pup a chance to have a change of scenery while working off some pent up anxious energy. My house can be a bit high energy and has multiple small children (including infants/toddlers) and adults going in and out. Our ideal dogs are those that are friendly with other dogs and people, or at the very least, ignore them. We cannot at this time take dogs that are extremely timid or show signs of fear or possession aggression. I will do my best to assess your dog at the meet-n-greet so that we can head off any of these potential issues beforehand. I offer discount prices for stays that last one week or longer. Bobbie and her son did a great job of looking after my fur babies while we were away. Videos and pics let me know that everyone at home was doing great and were happy. Will definitely be asking Bobbie to sit for us again the next time we need it.
