My dogs have the run of the house.
Pet care experience
I am a professor at the University of Idaho. I have a small, 3 room house with a fenced in yard. I am away from home a great deal during the week. So, I would only be able to sit for experienced dogs who can hold it for about 10 hours. However, on the weekends, I will be home just about all the time. I won't let the dogs into the yard unsupervised. UPDATE: I have pee pads now. I have a small poodle, for the last 12 years, and we have lived overseas too! I live in a very walkable area, near Kate Curley Park. We walk there in the evening. On the weekends, we frequently visit the Greenbelt. We can host overnight stays. Your dog can even sleep on the bed! I prefer reservations 1 week in advance (negotiable), and with my new dog, we prefer a meet first. Please only dogs 20 lbs (ish) or smaller and who are housebroken. About this sitter: I have a small, active poodle mix, who is very sociable. We both like to take walks and enjoy time outside. We now have a spunky 3 y/o maltese. Why I love dog sitting My first dog was a great dane when I was 2-5. Then I had a basset hound from 4-19. After college, I got my current companion, Panda, in 2005. We have since lived in Japan and in CA. In July 2017, Annie came to live with us. She loves her newfound freedom. Meet my pets I have one small poodle mix and a maltese. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication It depends on the kind, and this would be an added fee.

Bob was great! Took great care of my dog while he was there. Sent photo updates, took him for walks, and even gave Carson some healthy treats that he gives to his dog. Carson had free roam of the house and was able to cuddle up wherever he pleased. Bob was easy to contact and was also very flexible with pick up/drop off times, which was a great convenience. My only complaint would be that Carson was a little smelly when I picked him up, but that's nothing a bath couldn't take care of :) I would recommend Bob to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the area!
Jasmine was well looked after, and seemed happy. Bob was very accommodating in our pick up time late on Sunday evening, which was great. He took Jasmine and his dog, Panda, for walks around the neighborhood. A good experience.
Spud spent a 3 days weekend at Bob's place for the first time last weekend and it was a super pleasant experience. Bob took really good care of Spud,and took Spud around his neighborhood to say hi to the neighbors. Not only did Bob spend most of his time together with the dogs (Panda and Spud), Bob also took the dogs on a little field trip to the Lake. I can say that I had a great vacation knowing that Spud was in good hands and Spud had an even better vacation exploring Berkeley and Oakland neighborhood with Bob. Bob is a genuine dog-lover who will always care for your dog's well being. Thanks for the great weekend, Bob. Hope Spud will be able to have a sleepover with Panda again soon.
