I will treat your dog like I treated the students in my classroom for over 30 years. They will get my complete attention and I will make sure they are safe while in my care. Dogs are a lot like people, they are all are unique and have their own personalities. I enjoy getting to know them and building trust. I have taken training classes with my own dogs giving me new skills that are fun to utilize. It has been great to learn right along with them. I have trained our 2 year old dog as a certified therapy dog. The difference he makes in the schools we go into is amazing. I am going to be retired from the public school system on January 1, 2023. So my schedule will be very flexible to help with your dog walking needs. My dogs at home live inside with us. They go for a lot of walks. My younger dog jogs with me as well. As far as care for client's dogs, I make sure they feel at ease with my approach. We will walk at their pace and enjoy all the sights and smells that we come across. It is important to allow the dogs to learn who you are and develop a trust in you. As I am walking with the dogs I make sure to clean up any messes that they might want to leave behind.
