Pet care experience
Now that my children are grown I spend much of my free time with animals. I work from home so my schedule is flexible to volunteer as a rescue foster mom as well as pet sitter. As a rescuer, I have fostered a variety of breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments so my experience and comfort level is extensive. My pet sitting style is let them have fun; keep them safe; and give plenty of affection and cuddles. It is apparent by the obvious chew marks on the furniture that my home is laid back, calm and pet friendly. Those being boarded will have playmates and access to the fenced yard (free of any poisonous plants or shrubs). I do not believe in caging pets unless there is any indication of food aggression among them during feeding time. Cats are kept in a separate area of the home with access to a custom built Catio. This is to ensure any cats I am pet sitting remain comfortable and calm and away from the stress of dogs.

Although, the sitter seemed very nice and had a love for animals, it was too overwhelming for my dogs. When we arrived, she had 8 puppies that she had rescued along with her own pets. Personally, I think this is too much for one person to handle with having the pets of other owners under her care. The house was filthy and smelled horrible from all the animals. If your pet prefers a place more calm and controlled, Sorry to say but this is not the place for your pet.
Blanca was great! She is quick to respond and always sends pics of Remmy. I would definitely recommend Blanca! A+

I only met Blanca 6 days before I had a family emergency last week and had to go out of state for a few days - but I immediately knew that she was the right person to take care of my 6 month old puppy, Nikon. That is because she was his foster mom that helped rescue him from north Florida a few weeks before. Well I must say i was right - she took great care of him (again) & was patient with me when I sent a text (at least once a day) and asked how Nikon was doing. Blanca's updates on Nikon and daily photos of him - made me smile and brightened my days (on days that were quite difficult). I can never think her enough for that. There is no doubt next time I am heading out of town (hopefully for fun) - I know Blanca will be the first person I contact to see if Nikon can vacation there. During their stay, they will have access to the fenced in yard, cool tiled floor throughout the home, doggy beds and toys for play time. Those seeking cuddles will enjoy evening couch cuddle time when the day is winding down. For day stays, expect your baby to go home all tuckered out and ready for a nap.
