Pooch need a walk? I can help 🐕‍🦺

Pet care experience

I've always loved pets. I grew up surrounded by a variety of them, from cats and dogs to birds and a ferret, so I've got a lot of experience interacting with and caring for beloved creatures. Currently, I'm a proud pet dad of two cats and a dog, with two other dogs in our household that I also regularly walk. Seeing the enrichment dogs get out of walks outside, and considering how much I've been enjoying walking with ours, I'm enthusiastic about helping your furry companion stay active and happy. Dollars for Doggos program: I donate $1 of every booking to the Richardson Animal Shelter.

Blake is an awesome pet sitter and has taken care for my Chihuahua mix multiple times, while I was out of town. He has also taken my dog on walks, when I was away from home all day. Blake is kind, dependable, responsible, and caring and when Blake is in charge, I know that my dog will be well cared for as well as safe. I highly recommend Blake as a pet caregiver!

Blake did a great job walking Grace! I appreciated the picture he sent from their walk. He did a good job of letting her go at her own pace (she needs a slower walk due to being brachycephalic). I would definitely book him again!

Safety, trust & environment

The safety and comfort of your pooches is very important to me. I've completed the online American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid training to be better prepared for any accidents. I also do the following to help provide a safer environment for your dog(s): * Only book one client at a time, and walk a maximum of two dogs at one time. * No walks in inclement weather (heavy rain, thunderstorms, etc.) or extreme temperatures. * Carry extra water and a bowl to help keep your dogs hydrated as needed. * Carry a dog first aid kit - just in case! * Carry an extra leash in the event your dog's leash, harness, or collar break during a walk.

Information Blake W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any quirks, special needs, or health concerns and I'll do my best tailor the walk to their specific needs. Dollars for Doggos program: I donate $1 of every booking to the Richardson Animal Shelter.

A typical day

For walks: Depending on your preference and location, I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or at a nearby public park. If your dog is comfortable riding in the car I can also take them on a short drive to walk at a local park. I'm also an avid hiker and would be happy to take your dog for a hike on the nature trails at a local park or nature preserve. For Drop-ins: In addition to things like feeding and potty breaks, I'm happy to spend some time playing and socializing with your dog to help them happy and healthy.
