Blake is a young men with many attributes. Where to begin? He has always demonstrated his academic ability in his love for learning and in keeping a straight A student status; however, what has really left an impression and a legacy in his high school career, has been his care and dedication for building relationships and long-lasting bonds with not only peers but also with teachers. He has been named by some teachers, friends and family - a great encourager and support to others. He is also known for his respect to others and manners, and for his honesty, truthfulness and reliance. His love and compassion for pets was implanted in him by his adored dog of all childhood, Lola. She taught him so much about unconditional love, care, discipline and compassion. Lola was a part of our family for 12 years, and right before the pandemic, she began to lose her health very rapidly. Blake, although under the uncertainty and somewhat fear of the pandemic and under the turmoil of virtual school, took on the task to bring Lola back to health, and he was 100% successful! He did everything that was in his hands such as pay the attention necessary to figure out what her problems were. He took on the responsibility of walking her to health all to his own, even though the family has 4 able members, and he ensured that all medical care and medications were being provided for her and in a timely manner. When she was back to full health already at 10 years old, she looked like a young 3 year old dog! Sadly, Lola left this earth 7 months ago due to an undetected, advanced cancer, but, even then, during the hard decisions of to treat her rapidly debilitating body, and later, to let her go when her quality of life was no longer possible, Blake was strong, determined to do his best for Lola, selfless and loving as always. Presently, animals of his friends, whether dogs or cats, gravitate to Blake very easily and fall in love with him, quickly!
