I've owned family cats for the entirety of my life, responsibilities growing with age. I've volunteered at equestrian centers as well as the Animal Rescue Foundation. While my expertise is in cats, i have also house sat for dogs on a few occasions and look forward to even more experience as i am an avid dog lover. I can also water your plants!

I'm a big advocate for communication, so i always encourage my clients to write out any special needs or particular schedules/desires to ensure that i can follow through on them. I like to sit down with my clients for at least 15 minutes prior to house-sitting to discuss exactly these needs and take notes as needed.

Please tell me of any medical needs or allergies first and foremost! If your pet has any particular favorites or preferences, I always strive to make your pet as happy and comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I like to go to bed early to enjoy the sunrise early in the morning. A typical morning will be breakfast for your pet while I make a cup of coffee, followed by a nice early morning walk around the neighborhood. I love forest preserves and will happily take your pet of there is one nearby. After the walk, we'll probably take some time to relax while i read or crochet with the TV on until the early afternoon. Around that time, we'll go for another walk or at least go outside and stretch our legs. If your pet is a little more active, I'll happily take some time to either play indoors or go for a run, depending on specific needs. I'm a big outdoorsman and animal friend so your pet will have plenty of activity under my care unless otherwise needed. Dinner will probably be around 5-6 unless your pet is not hungry, in which i will of course try later in the night.

Availability
I work two part time jobs that are fairly flexible with me, my shifts also don't tend to exceed six hours, so I can provide and care for your pet any time i am not at work. I have roommates at home so my cat will be provided for without me having to monitor her as well.
