Pet care experience
I'm a nurse with flexible hours who really loves animals of all kinds. While I grew up with dogs, I’m the proud parent of a little loving and shy rescue cat named Jo, and I’m pretty obsessed with her. Having grown up up with a west highland terrier and a llasa apso, I am most comfortable working with small-medium size dogs but I also have years of experience walking larger dogs such as huskies or golden retrievers. I am very active and am willing to walk or run with your dog for miles. In the past I have walked up to three dogs but I am most comfortable walking one or two. I can work with puppies and older dogs alike. I’m excited to meet your furry friends and love yours as I would my own!

Blair was great! I really appreciated that she wiped off Hennessy’s paws- it was a muddy day.
I am not a huge dog lover but Blair’s love of dogs has rubbed off on me. She is constantly telling me how cute dogs are as we walk down the street. She knows the perfect way rub and scratch the dogs so they love her no matter what dog they are. She is also a very responsible lady and you can count on her to be able to walk your dog anytime you need it.

I care for your animal as if it was my own. For dogs, I generally like to take them walking first and channel all their excitement into some exercise and bathroom time. I spend extra time giving well-deserved pets and snuggles at the end of a long walk. For cats, I let them determine how they want the visit to go. If that means snuggles and play time, great! If it means giving them space but keeping their litter box clean, I’m also happy to accommodate.

I please let me know if there are any special behaviors about your animals ahead of time- ie if they get along with other animals well, if they’re generally friendly, if they’re potty-trained…etc. This helps me know what to expect in a first visit.
A typical day
I love to get your dogs moving first thing. We’ll go for a long walk and make sure they feel well exercised and enjoyed some fresh air and sights. If nearby, we might even go to a dog park and play some catch! I always will include lots of petting and snuggling time of course.

I’m currently working part time but my schedule looks different every week. A weekly visit is possible depending on the timing, and repeated visits are referred so your animal and I can get to know each other more!
