Your dog needs a workout buddy too!

Pet care experience

I grew up walking dogs in my neighborhood, and I have a dog of my own from a local rescue as well as two cats and four rats. I have experience in a small animal vet clinic and am comfortable administering oral meds and injections. I recently moved from Florida to study animal science at the University of Vermont with a pre-veterinary focus. I can’t wait to meet your pets, and I look forward to working with you!

Blair was awesome and sent sweet photos of our cat and pup while we were away! She took Ollie on some fun adventures, and even folded sheets we had in the dryer which was so nice to come home to. We would definitely ask Blair to house/ pet sit again in the future!!

Blair was great with my two bunnies! She was very attentive and I enjoyed the pics, videos and the little updates about them everyday. I recommend Blair for your cats, dogs and even your small animals! Thanks so much!

Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize the safety and comfort of your pet above all. I will follow your requests when it comes to feeding, crating, preferred gear, on leash interactions, and anything else that gives you and your dog peace of mind. Due to my previous work with my own dog, volunteering at a rescue, and caring for other’s pets, I am experienced at reading body language, and I understand how to manage reactivity.

Information Blair H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behavioral quirks I should be aware of. I have a lot of experience with reactive dogs, and would be willing to meet your pet ahead of time for a multi day sitting. Additionally, in the winter months, please leave out or let me know where your dog’s jacket is if they get cold outside!

A typical day

I love to explore new places, and I’m an especially big fan of going for hikes. I tend to let the dog set the pace, so they can get all of their sniffs in. I’m also a big proponent of enrichment activities for all kinds pets so let me know if you have a puzzle feeder or other engaging toys/games your pet enjoys.
