Veterinary technician, CVT

Pet care experience

Graduated from Mount Ida College with Veterinary technology degree in 2018 and I am a Certified Veterinary Technician by the CTVTA. I can administer medications orally, IV, IM, and ID. I have been pet sitting various species for the past 8 years, including horses, dogs, cats, reptiles, and various birds. I will give each animal the loving care they desire without enhancing any negative behavioral traits. I will walk or run with your dog depending on energy levels. I can assist and continue various training skills including; house breaking, sit, lie down, stay, paw, name recognition, fetch, leash and off leash walking, and socializing. If you may know if someone with large or exotic species in need of a pet sitter, please forward my information along. I love to work with all animal species! Currently I am employed full time at Shoreline Animal Hospital as a CVT. I work full days on Mondays and Tuesdays only. If your stay includes those day(s) please be sure I will be a good fit for your pet. That they are used to you being gone for a full work day. I work half days on Wednesday, Saturday and every other Friday.

This is the first time we used Blair to house sit for our two dogs. We arrived home after a ten day vacation and found the dogs happy and unstressed. The house was clean and well maintained, and the towels and sheets Blair used washed (even though I said she did not have to do that). The dogs loved Blair which we could see the first time she came to the house for a meet and greet. She came back before we left to make sure she understood all of our instructions and our dogs' routine. She is very kind, loving and responsible. She sent us photos with sweet captions every day. She keep our active dog well exercised with play and plenty of outside time. We would have no reservations about having Blair sit for us again in the future.

We had Blair house sit for over a week. She had the responsibility of a young and very active dog and two horses. We were very happy with the job she did. All the animals were happy and healthy upon our return (and the house in very good order, too!) She is very knowledgeable about all types of animals. I would definitely use her again and I highly recommend her.
