Walks & runs with academics in home office
Pet care experience
We are Björn and Daniela, two academics working frequently from home. We love animals, and would be very happy to take care of them. Our work day is extremely flexible as we set our own schedule and it would be great to have a pet companion. The pet can expect a lot of attention, affection and frequent walks. Also if suitable runs as we love to exercise outdoor. We speak English, Spanish, German and (a little) French. Nous sommes Björn et Daniela, deux doctorats qui travaillent souvent à domicile. Nous aimons les animaux et serions très heureux de nous en occuper. Notre journée de travail est extrêmement flexible, car nous fixons nous-mêmes notre emploi du temps, et nous serions ravis d'avoir un compagnon animalier. L'animal peut s'attendre à beaucoup d'attention et à de fréquentes promenades. Nous aimons faire de l'exercice en plein air. Nous parlons anglais, espagnol, allemand et (un peu) français.

Spyke is a cherished member of my family for years, and when I need someone to look after him, I cannot ask for anyone better than Bjorn and Daniela. From the moment I talk to them, I could see the genuine care and affection they have for animals. Not only they make sure that Spyke's basic needs are met, but they go above and beyond to make sure Spyke feel loved and comfortable in their care. Whether it is going for long walks in the park, playing, or simply staying with him in the couch, they make sure Spyke has plenty of attention and affection. I always feel reassured knowing that Spyke is in such capable and caring hands. I am immensely grateful for the love and care they show Spyke during the moments I am absent. I would not hesitate to entrust Spyke to them again in the future, they are really kind and dedicated.

We live in a nice apartment in Paris 16 from which it is a very short distance to go for walks along the Seine and in Bois de Boulogne.

A typical day
Will go for frequent walks during work breaks every hour and play during smaller breaks every 30mins. Also I usually go for a long run per day 5-10km and would be happy to take the dog on it if it is suitable.

Availability
We work as doctoral students on our own research projects so we set our own schedule and have a very flexible working day in which we like to go outside and for walks. This would suit very well taking care of a dog or cat occasionally.
