Lifelong animal lover with over 9 years experience in animal rehabilitation/training,as well as 7 years of experience in the Veterinary field. Currently attending UC Merced to obtain my Bachelors degree in Biological Science. Planning to apply to the UC Davis Veterinary school to obtain my DVM in Veterinary medicine after graduation. My entire life has revolved around rescuing all kinds of stray animals. I began officially fostering for an animal rescue in Simi Valley at the age of 12(A.R.V). Over the years I have fostered and rehabilitated dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes with problems ranging from fear, aggression, incompetence, to basic obedience. At the age of 14 I began a work experience internship at Yosemite Pet Hospital, which then turned into a Job shadow with Dr. Ron Resnick at Dr. Rons Animal Hospital and Emergency. At the age of 17 I was finally hired at East/West Veterinary Clinic in Thousand Oaks, CA as a receptionist, but was quickly reassigned as a Veterinary Technician. I am now employed here in Merced while I strive towards my degree. I am passionate about my work and look forward to the bonds I am able to form with my patients/clients each day. I have worked with pets of all ages and sizes, including elderly and disabled pets, and of course have no problems administering medications. I have reliable transportation, am a trustworthy choice, and can provide references upon request.
