Pet care experience
I have grown up with lots of different pets (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs and rabbits), also owned some difficult rescue dogs who required a lot of training and now look after my daughter’s lurcher and dachshund/terrier cross as well as my partner’s Labrador. I owned a horse for 30 years as well as having ponies for the children and have trained and looked after them until 8 years ago - I now look after and exercise my friend’s horse when required. I love having animals around but due to me being away frequently have opted to not own another pet at this time instead would love to look after pets for other people.

Birgit is a very experienced and capable dog carer. She's had many dogs as an owner and continues to looks after several dogs now. She cares for my female labrador wonderfully and makes sure she always has good, long walks and lots of affection- being based on Earlswood common is ideal for lots of walks. I do have experience with dogs that are difficult to handle but would need to to get properly introduced to the dog and make sure i am following your lead on training and playing.
A typical day
I have a good routine for the dogs, getting up early when it is too hot to go out later in the day - I have some lovely open spaces for lots of playtime and beautiful local walks for plenty of exercise and socialising with other dogs.
