I love long walks, playing catch, tug-of-war, snuggling on the couch, and much more. I am looking to dog sit to get my fix of being around dogs while I dream about adopting one of my own someday. My experience with Rover is new, but I have had the opportunity to dog sit throughout my college and graduate school years. I have house and dog sat for my old boss's basset hound several times and went on many walks where I ended up carrying him home 2 of the 4 blocks. Occasionally I cared for 2 of my host family's chihuahua-dachshund dogs when they were away for the weekend or week. I also had the responsibility to care for my neighbor's retriever-spaniel mix while his owner went on vacation. So, I have had the opportunity to care for breeds with big personalities, those who are laid back, and others that have a constant supply of energy to burn. I love to get outside and frequently I enjoy spending my free time walking around the quieter, woodier part of the neighborhood.
