Pet care experience
Your pet will stay with me as my companion and free to enjoy my home without kenneling. I grew up loving and caring for dogs and cats. I tease my neighbors that their pets like me (more than them). It's the scritches and tummy rubs. I am retired and live in west Mount Vernon. My backyard fence is Washington Elementary school's playground fence. Edgewater Park and the Skagit River trail are close by. Ours is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and where everyone loves animals. Your pets will enjoy walkimg, playing and snoozling with me. See all my furfriends' at our Instagram @roverpupsitter account. My schedule is flexible and I'm available day and night to answer questions or address your concerns. I am prepared for any unexpected boarding crisis and answer all calls. References are available.

Information Bill S. would like to know about your pet
I need to know of any dietary, health or behavioral issues your special friend has so I can provide them with the best possible care. Their health and safety are paramount. My guests must be vaccinated, have updated booster shots, be flea and tick free, and housebroken.
A typical day
Your best buddy will always be with me. I am retired and live in west Mount Vernon. My house has a secure and spacious backyard. My back fence is the Washington Elementary playground fence. An occasional errant school kickball adds a surprise element to our backyard play, and the school children love seeing the dogs. I find windblown notes asking, "Circle One: Do you like me? Yes. No." While staying with me, your pet and I have many choices for fun activities ranging from downtown Mount Vernon to anywhere in the beautiful Skagit Valley. We can take our walks every day at Edgewater Park or along the new Skagit Riverwalk. Or we might go to nearby Bakerview Park and dog play area. It’s just up the hill. We could also visit my favorite fun place to hike, the Port of Skagit Nature Trails. Another option is Sedro-Woolley’s Bark Park. It is a pooch play area featuring large shady, grassy areas to romp 'til ya' drop. It's open grassland with plenty of room for any active pup. Last but not least, Anacortes boasts the new The Ace of Hearts Dog Park (38th & H St). A Bring Fido review said, "... is a wonderful place to let your dog be a social butterfly. Nice wide open space, separate area for smaller dogs, all fenced, nice gazebo and good running water. Definite 5 Bones rating!" Is there any higher?" And that's just a few of the great opportunities for your pup and me to explore.
