Pet care experience
I am generally home on the weekends and enjoy having dogs around. I am experiencing a canine empty nest syndrome of sorts... Pete the Puggle King was lost to sudden illness awhile back and Tina Louise, the beagle, is mostly with my sons at their other parent. I'm not quite ready to take on another dog of my own but I miss the playfulness, walking and companionship of a dog on the weekends... so playing with and caring for someone else's dog is the next best thing! They are great company and if I can help someone's dog from being left alone and provide some companionship that's awesome. From the cameras it always seemed my dogs were happy at the bow wow camp type places. They love being around other dogs but I was always concerned about whether they got enough individual attention. During the week I generally work outside the home; I'm happy to try and help out but the dog would have a significant chunk of the day alone.

Information Bill H. would like to know about your pet
What is your favorite petting spot? Behind the ears? Tummy rub? What words do you know that represent food or treat? For example my puggle knew the words "chicken", "walkie-walk", "treat", "No teeth" (When we played chase). The beagle knows "do you want to chase bunnies?" means go for a walk. Do you ever eat table scraps? What kind of trouble do you like to get into? Do you like to stop and say hello to other dogs when you're walking? Do you stress at loud noises? Thunder? Are you okay with walking in the rain? Do you like going to the Home Depot? I am partial to puggles, pugs and beagles...
A typical day
Dogs make walking more interesting. When something catches their interests to stop and smell it compels me to look around and take in my surroundings. I am close to Governor's Park and Cheeseman Park.
