I've had dogs for most of my life. I currently have 2 large dogs at home (Presa Canario) and 1 small dog (Maltese). The dog ages that I’ve had vary from senior, adult, and puppy. One of my furry family members has been a shelter rescue with special needs. I know how to take care of dogs of different breeds, sizes, and various life stages at the same time. I do grooming for all my dogs myself, including bathing and nail clipping. I aim to make your life easier and enrich the life of your furry family members. As I pet owner, I know how dogs get excited when they know they are going for a walk so I want to bring your pet that joy while you attend to things that you must do like work, appointments, vacation and more. I'll treat your pet as if it was my own because I know your pet is more than an animal. They're family. What makes me special: I let your dog pick their own walking path. Allowing dogs to sniff around simulates their brain so I let them take their time while balancing cardio requirements. If it is muddy or wet outside I wipe dogs down so they don't get the home dirty and they aren't cold and uncomfortable. I also practice walk safety, I always stop and hold the leash firmly when there cars coming by which teaches dogs that they must stay close when cars are coming. I don't allow dogs to eat or drink anything outside, if they happen to pick something up I immediately verbally scold and do a mouth sweep (bond with pet permitting). Standing water outside is a serious hazard to dog health because harmful bacteria and parasites can be in it. I can also follow any dog's special diet instructions as I have experience doing this with my own dogs in the past. I can also administer various medications. I have a significant background with K-9 training which includes safety, obedience, tricks, and introduction to service animal training.
