My love for animals started when I was 4 years old when my family got our very first dog. We went on to also get cats and a bird. Fast forward over 20 years later, I rescued my very own senior pittie (RIP) and am a regular volunteer and foster at the shelter. My dog had a lot of trauma from past abuse and she taught me so much in the time we were together. I've fostered other dogs with traumatic pasts, young puppies, playful adult dogs, and even have experience with a paralyzed Great Dane. I'm patient and caring and I love being around animals, so you can trust that I'll take good care of your best friend. Whether that means walking them while you're at work or spending more time with them when you go on vacation, they'll be in good hands. I understand that they can't talk to us, so I know how to pay attention and make sure that they're taken care of. There is nothing that makes me happier in this world than a happy pet, so I'll do my very best to make sure they're as happy as possible until they're reunited with you. I currently work from home so my schedule can be quite flexible. With advance notice, I should be able to accommodate most requests regardless of if they're for weekends or weekdays. I have one dog who is dog, cat, and people friendly. If you need me to dog sit in your home, I'm happy to follow your routine as best as possible. I'm comfortable crating dogs, feeding them, giving medicine, and taking them on walks. I also grew up with cats so I can clean the litter box, feed them, and give them company as needed.
