I have experience with dogs of all ages and truly care about dogs and their well-being. I've cared for my previous dog, Jessie, who had cancer towards the end of her life, by taking her to weekly appointments to receive treatment in order for her to have the best quality of life that she could have. I miss her dearly ever since she passed in January 2017. I adopted a puppy in February 2017 from Wags Rescue and Referral, who pulled her from a high kill shelter in NC after being found in a ditch on the side of a road. I've trained her and comforted her during her transition into our family. Zoey has so much personality and loves people, other dogs, and going for walks! In April 2018, I adopted a second dog, Buster, from Providence Animal Center, who took him in after being found as a stray fending for himself in Upper Darby, PA. Buster has a lot of energy but also thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to play with toys. I have a natural calming influence to dogs and want to meet every dog I see! I am always able to tell when a dog or animal isn't feeling well and try to accommodate them the best that I can. Other people describe me as very responsible, reliable, easy to talk to, and organized. I have also watched and taken care of neighbors' dogs and relatives' dogs in the past while they were away and have enjoyed caring for each dog.
