A lot of my time was spent on my Papa’s and Nana’s farm. We had sheep, a Pygmy goat named ivy, a horse named Spinner our family pups and their bordering kennels. We boarded dogs ever since I can remember. I’m not sure how many dogs I’ve met, pet and had sleepovers with but my Papa and Nana are the reason I adore animals so much. Finding the animals personality and corks are one of my favorite things to hold on to. I can’t wait to get started! Currently I have 3 rescue dogs and 4 rescue cats. I have fostered about 10 kittens and 16 bunnies. I puppy/cat sat in the owners home. I’ve done quick drop ins and dog walks. I have worked with two families who has lost their dogs to cancer and an unknown reason. I stayed with Molly’s family for her last days. I spent the night carrying over a 100 pound lab outside to use the restroom or just to sum bathe. Loosing Molly and Tanny Bear was extremely emotional. They were my friends. I have experienced things that I would never had thought of by having pets as a connection, meeting people and finding new friends.
