Pet care experience
Getting to know the unique quirks of an animal is one of the joys in my life - I would be honored to get to know your pet! I grew up with pets and farm animals and have many years of experience taking care of other’s pets as well. My own dog is 10 years old and came to me as a “difficult” dog. I love to extend patience and playfulness to all animals I meet - and with my own dog that has helped us train and work well together.

Bex was wonderful with our 3 senior pups! They are quite a handful and have special needs and Bex handled it all - walks and accident clean up with our arthritic, incontinent little one, meal prep with impatient pups swarming, lots of medications, eyedrops, a crazy storm, etc. We received multiple updates and had a great weekend away knowing that our babies were very well cared for, which is certainly invaluable!
Bex did a wonderful job with our dog and cat while we were away. We received multiple photos everyday, and it was extremely reassuring to know that our pets were in good hands.

I’m happy to care for dogs with special needs please let me know if there is anything I can do to better care for your pet. Some helpful information for me - How does you dog do around other dogs? Do they like playing at home with toys or do they prefer to go on a long walk or both? How is your dog on leash? Are they motivated or uninterested in treats? What commands do you typically use with your dog? Are you working on/training anything that I can be consistent with?
A typical day
Playtime inside and outside, training activities, love and cuddles, adventures to the Eno or other trails - and whatever else your dog will enjoy! I’m happy to tailor the daily routine to whatever suits your dog best.

I am currently a graduate student. While academics keeps me pretty busy, I love to make time to care for your pet. For their well-being and mine!
