When I was just six months old, I got my first standard black poodle, Gigi. From that moment my love affair with dogs began--and has never stopped. I grew up with all kinds of dogs--from cute miniature poodles to my dad's pointer hunting dogs on the farm in New Hampshire--I was always surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses. My dog-sitting style is loving, gentle, calm and yet firm if necessary. I have a unique way of communicating with animals that allows them to feel safe loved and secure. Humans are just so lucky that they get to spend time with such amazing beings. They aren't only great companions, but partners in work and life. I started looking after my neighbor's dogs five years ago when her mother was going through a serious illness. I went above and beyond when providing this care and word of my reliability spread. Before I knew it I became the go-to pet sitter in my area, and I met tons of amazing clients. I am originally from Boston, so I am also known for walking my neighbor's dogs in the deep snow and on icy nights when they just not up to it. One of my favorite clients is the neighborhood greyhound who loves to leap in the snow and gets so excited! I've worked in gyms for over 12 years, so I'm physically fit and love taking dogs on long walks. I am a real nature lover and "green person". I'll love taking your dog to a beautiful park, or walking along a path in the woods just enjoying each other's company. I am so excited to meet you and you beloved family member.
