Pet care experience
We had a small dog for 13 years. Now that she is no longer here I want to be around dogs but am not ready to be an owner yet. I am working occasionally and volunteering as well; as I need to keep actively involved in life. I am recently retired as well so have time to play. With the extra time I want to share some of it with your fur babies. I love to walk and why not do it with a friend. I have walked many mid plus size dogs and at times look after our Husky grand dog. My husband and I really like dogs! Our dog had diabetes and other age related issues so am familiar with meds and caring for older dogs. Am also a health care professional so have medical experience and not afraid of health issues. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies :)

Bev is the most caring dog person I have ever met! She has regularly cared for over a year for our 14 year old lab Lucy. Even though Lucy was a senior dog with mobility issues and existing knee injury, I know she loved every minute of it. Bev made sure that Lucy is always comfortable, treated her with utmost care, used the harness and sometimes even sat on the floor with her to hand-feed, when our baby was not in the mood to eat or take meds. Sometimes during visits, if Lucy had a bad day, Bev would just play with her, cuddle, pet, spend time with her and tell her how much she loves her. Bev made the most of their time and was easy to make arrangments with, always punctual and caring. I don't know how Lucy lucked out so much because it was our first booking on rover ever and we scored such a gem! I would highly reccomend Bev to anyone, especially if you have a senior dog who requires lots of care. Lucy will always love you, to the moon and back <333 [04.11.2007-24.12.21]
Bev and Greg are the perfect people to care for our dog, Ella, while we are away. Despite Ella having separation anxiety, she did very well on her first night away. Dogs have an amazing ability to sense warmth and kindness in people, and Ella has taken to them very well. Bev was so thoughtful in updating us throughout with great photos and text messages to calm our worries that she might be anxious or nervous. Bev and Greg do this for the right reasons and their care, love, and warmth really translate to our dog’s approval! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bev and Greg to anyone, other than maybe one day she’ll be too busy to fit us in!
Bev was great to our little Pelli, we are very happy and pleased to have found her and that she was able to look after Pelli.

I play with the dogs in the house and take them for walks at least 2 X a day with pee breaks between the walks every 2 to 3 hours. OR more as needed. I keep an eye on them always. My husband also loves playing with the pups in the house :)

A typical day
Will walk near host home or ours; I will drive to your home within reason (5 km or less). Lots of trails by a lake nearby with occasional busy roads but we try to stay clear of these.

Availability
I am retired and work part time so have days and weekends for doggo time. I walk regularly and it is more enjoyable with a dog with me - at least 50 minute walks and up to 90 depending on the needs.
