Pet care experience
Born and raised in New York, I now live in Brooklyn. My family used to raise shelter and rescue dogs when I was little so I have a good amount of experience with all sorts of behaviors. I used to work in advertising and now I'm pursuing a new career in medicine, going to school full-time, volunteering, and hopefully making room in my schedule to be able to care for your friend when you need some help. I love what I do because dogs are just awesome. I do go above and beyond when it comes to caring for them - with care, empathy, humor, and consideration. I am punctual and dependable with walks - rain, shine, or snow, as long as it's not dangerous outside. I can be a brisk walker and am not afraid to run with your dog if that's their speed. I also know how to gauge the right tempo and slow it down cause every dog is unique.

We booked Betty once and she had an incredibly warm, welcoming, calm, comforting, and reliable demeanor, to dogs and humans alike. It felt refreshing to be in her presence and I left my dog with her knowing she was in great hands and would be taken care of. She was also excellent at communication and sharing pictures. A+. Please keep up the effort, Betty; it shows.
Betty was great! She was very communicative and sent lots of updates and photos. I think Odin really enjoyed staying with her!
Betty is kind of like the dog whisperer... every dog wants her attention, or maybe just the treats she keeps in her bag. She's taken care of dogs since she was a child and even fostered a Schipperke rescue for a year before he found a great home on a farm in Pennsylvania. She'll treat every dog like he or she is apart of the family - with kindness, empathy, respect, and attention. She follows directions well and anything asked of her she will happily consider and deliver with a warm smile.

Let me know if your dog is an elder or has a busy bladder. My apartment is on the top floor of a brownstone so there are 3 flights of stairs to climb up and down from. I'm happy to carry a dog if necessary (well, anyone who weights less than 35 pounds!).
A typical day
We can walk to Fort Greene Park or the dog park at Herbert Von King Park, or stick to quieter greener streets away from car and foot traffic.
