I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend. That’s why I became a dog sitter: to make that time as easy as possible on all of us! I love being able to provide owners with peace of mind by providing their pup with the same quality care as they’re used to when they’re at home. Plus, it’s just great to be able to put a smile on a dog’s face! Dogs are always so selfless and love unconditionally, so it’s always been a mission of mine to provide for dogs wherever and whenever I can. Although I’ll be the primary caregiver for your pup, I have a house full of puppy love! I currently have 4 dogs: a German Shepherd, Boxer, Dalmatian, and a Belgium Shepherd mix. My German Shepherd has some special needs, but it’s been so rewarding getting to take care of her. She has hip dysplasia and requires some help getting up along with multiple medication daily. I have fostered and re-homed dogs recently as well, and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to get to provide pups with a safe home as they transition into the next chapter in their lives. They are usually owner surrenders and we take them in a find them the right forever home. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, communication is the name of my game! I love to keep owners completely up-to-date on all of the goings-on of the stay. My daily updates will always have accompanying pictures with them so you can see photo evidence of just how much fun we’re having together! I’m happy to keep you updated on any details that you need to know of, such as any behaviors, exercise, or medical issues.
