Our dog received exceptional care from Bettina while we were on vacation for 9 days. She was diligent in keeping Hershey on her routine while also attentive to any special needs/requests we had. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of their long walks, Hershey meeting her horses and cuddle time in the house. It was so wonderful to be able to relax on vacation knowing she was safe and happy with Bettina.
My pups loved spending time with Bettina. They can be a handful (two Beagles) and Bettina and the family cared for them, played and kept them out of mischief throughout the stay. I will definitely keep sending Bagel and Lola to Bettina's house for any lodging needs in the future. Highly recommend them!
Bettina is truly a pro for any of your pet care needs. She has many years of experience caring for multiple species of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens (to name a few). Bettina has cared for my two 12 year old cats as well as my 4 year old German Shepherd and we could not be more pleased with her services and professionalism. She has a caring and nurturing personality along with being dependable, trustworthy, and punctual. She is also knowledgable and competent to handle any unexpected circumstances that could arise. I highly recommend Bettina for hire!
I have known Bettina for close to 20 years, she is a true animal lover! Bettina looked after our first dog Bagel (a mischievous yet adorable Beagle) many times and Bagel loves going to her house. If you know anything about Beagles you know that they eat anything AND they are escape artists... Bettina was able to keep him safe and entertained every single time. They took care of Bagel as if he was one more of the family and dealt with all the Beagle tricks he pulled on them without a skip! Bettina is a reliable and loving pet sitter and she will make sure that your pets are taken care appropriately and with no fuss. We now have two Beagles (our new addition, Lola, is a 3 year old Beagle rescue who is still adapting to life outside a cage) who will stay with her! Both of them get really excited when they know is time to visit Bettina's house!

We also have direct access to trails, and as an avid walker, I love taking dogs for refreshing walks to keep them active and engaged.

Ensuring your pet is happy is my primary concern, therefore obtaining as much information from you about their likes and dislikes is essential. A summary of their typical day (feed times, walk schedule etc etc) would be ideal, as would their bed/basket/blanket. Their food and bowl with clear instructions is a must.
A typical day
Tailoring activities to suit the dogs is essential. I love walking and we have trail access to Lake Poway from the property, so any dog that enjoys walking is going to love it here. We have plenty of space for playing ball and there is generally someone inside for the more sedate friends.

I currently work part time with horses on a nearby ranch. At home, it's myself, my husband, and our two high school children who adore spending time with our furry guests. We are a responsible and caring family, dedicated to ensuring that your pet's experience with us is filled with love, play, and companionship. I understand the importance of routine, and I am more than happy to accommodate set schedules to make sure your pet feels right at home.
