Pet care experience
From pitbulls to dachshunds, from chill cuddlebugs to special needs babes, I've cared for all kinds of pets my whole life. Ive had aggressive dogs, active cats and working dogs who need to be worn out. So I will be sure to give your pet the personalized attention they need while you are away, walks, playtime, enrichment, and affection. I have a car as well if vet appointments are needed or day trips to a hiking trail is something you would like. Also open and have experience giving baths and medicines as needed.

Beth truly loves all dogs and they love her back! I have trusted her with Disco many times over his 13 years and I can't think of anyone better to care for him. He can be very needy due to his anxiety but she knows just how to handle him. Knowing Beth is in charge puts both Disco and I at ease!
Beth watched our cat for a few days while we were out of town, and she did a fantastic job. Our cat was loved and well cared for, and she took good care of our house as well. She's also been a dog owner, so she really understands how important it is to know that your animal is in good hands. She sent me updates while we were away and caught me up on how everything went when we got back. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Id love to know your existing care routines ahead of time, and if there are any medical needs that i can prepare and provide extra care for. How do they like to give and receive affection? What are their favorite types of play? What are some triggers or boundaries your pet has that need to be honored? I have lots of experience with pitbulls and bully breeds. I've had big dogs much of life, but a previous roommate was a lovable yet human aggressive dachshund mix and I was his favorite person. So size and breed are not factors in my preferences. Currently I am a cat dad and while I did not grow up with them, I was a cat uncle before that. The journey into becoming a full time cat companion has been incredibly rewarding and such a pleasure. I love getting to know your animal and who they are and how they feel safe and supported.
A typical day
Typically i like to build on your existing care and enrichment routines. With dogs I want to know their favorite way to play and places to walk or go --is there a dog park your frequent or a nearby trail you like to explore? I love a game of hide and seek or tug of war or anything to use those sniffers. With any pet i want to know their morning and evening feeding, play, and hygiene routines. What are their favorite toys and enrichment activities? Is your cat a tree cat or a cave cat? What is your stance on laser pointers? Where are their favorite spots?

Availability
I'm currently working part-time and looking to add more activity and joy into my life with regular animal care. My hours are flexible and change from week to week, and availability with be regularly updated. Looking to add a few consistent clients for drop ins, walks, and house sitting as needed.
