Hi there! I am a Nashville native who loves all animals. I was a former MNPS elementary school teacher and administrator but am leaving education to focus on my pet care business. I have been pet/house-sitting as a side job for the past 11 years and it bought me my first home in January 2018. I have had six (cats/dogs) of my own so I understand the love, commitment, and concern that’s comes from being a fur baby parent. I have a few regular clients but am looking to expand the business I have started. My new schedule allows much flexibility for drop in visits, walks, as well as over-night stays. Betsy is an incredibly professional, reliable, and knowledgeable pet caregiver. She has watched my dog several times and I have been so impressed. She takes the time to get to know the animals and remembers what they like and don’t like, their routines, and anticipates what they need. She is my go to pet caregiver.
Betsy Tucker has helped me care for and raise my own puppy. She is the only one I trust to leave my lab and Shepard with when I leave for vacation. She makes sure they get enough love, exercise, and healthy treats a pup deserves when away from their human. I don’t know of a better person to care for our fur babies than her.
Betsy has been helping my wife and I with our two rowdy Weimaraners since January 2018. She has been our “on call assistant” as we like to call her and a true member of our family. She has come over for daily visits, walks, and feedings as well as stayed and watched over our home when we go on vacation. She is always so patient with our crew and I know they are in the best hands when she is there. The times she stays overnight, she always leaves our home better than we left it. Anytime she comes for a check in or walk, she’s always considerate to send us pictures and videos so we know all is well. We highly recommend Betsy— you won’t find a more responsible, dependable, communicative, animal lover out there!
Betsy is an extremely loving and trustworthy caregiver. She is knowledgeable of all kinds of dog breeds and dog personalities. From energetic dogs to shy dogs she knows what to do! She has cared for my dog who has separation anxiety and helped comfort her instead of getting upset with her for barking a lot. She provides updates while you are gone and is over all an excellent caregiver! I fully trust her with my pets!

I am vastly knowledgeable in Labradors, Retrievers, Boxers, and Pit-bull breeds. I have helped regularly take care of a Pomeranian, an elderly Bichon Frise, and two elderly long-hair dachshunds for three separate clients. I am comfortable with all breeds but would want to know any specific needs or concerns you have-- how are they with other animals, stormy weather, medical history (seizures, etc), food aggressive, car travel etc.
A typical day
I love going on long walks as well as play-time at home. I know several safe and fun dog parks as well as great trails for longer walks.
