Pet care experience
I grew up with pets most of my life and raised my family with all kinds of animals. Dogs, cats, mice and even rats! Yes, rats are very personable. I have a 13 year old Malti-Poo, Henry, who brightens every day! I am able to bathe, feed, walk dogs and administer medication. Size doesn't matter. I am used to miniature pups and the largest breeds. I am a retired nurse so poop, urine and vomit don't bother me! I look forward to giving your fury one lots of love and attention.

Betsy was fantastic caring for our five-month-old lab puppy while we were away for a few hours at a memorial service. She communicates well, is experienced, diligent, caring, responsible, reliable. Our pup enjoyed and did very well with her. They went for two walks and played. We couldn’t have asked for more. It was our first Rover experience and a wonderful one.

Betsy was lovely to work with! She was responsible and kind to our two kitties, and remembered all of the details. Our power went out while we were gone, which meant that our automatic feeder wasn’t working properly. She noticed this and checked in with us about it, and properly reset all of the settings. She also checked it at every subsequent visit. Our more skittish cat trusted her immediately. Would definitely hire her again, and plan to! Thank you, Betsy!
We are so grateful for Betsy. She goes above and beyond to keep our dog comfortable and safe and happy! Always gives very detailed reports before and after walks and helped clean up when our dog got a little destructive with her toys without us even asking. Responds always very quickly. It’s easy to tell she cares so much about dogs!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cannot have dogs in my own home because I rent but would follow whatever routine you have for your pet in your home. I am very detailed oriented and clean. Your pets will be well taken care of with lots of love, brushing, walks and play. No worries for you as you enjoy time away.

A typical day
Depending on where the dog lives, I will go to a dog park or follow the directions the dog's parent leaves for his/her daily routine. With permission, I love to go on hikes or to dog friendly beaches. If your dog likes riding in the car, we can go for a ride followed by a hike!

I am a retired nurse, my children are grown and married. I'm looking for some fury friends to give love to, exercise and play with in my spare time. I will have a lot of time to give extra attention and exercise as needed for your pets.
