During our initial, no-obligation “meet and greet” I want you (along with your pets, who’ll join us) to tell me everything I’ll need to know in order to keep your pups (and any cats, of course - they receive as much (the snugglers) or as little (the more independent felines) attention as you wish) as happy, exercised and calm as they are when you are home (or as close to it as possible; as much fun as the dogs and cats I stay with have, NOBODY can replace “Mom,” “Dad,” or both: but I do my best to be the best “Aunt Betsy” I can while you’re away. I have no breed preferences but I don’t pet-sit dangerously aggressive dogs.

When I come to stay with your dog(s), I do my absolute best to maintain your pooch’s regular schedule, so that in addition to enjoying the security of the pet’s home environment, he or she will have as much play, attention, walks, and specified-by-you details (exact diet and mealtimes, play with beloved toys, belly rubs - whatever “Fido” is most used to! (If you want your dog to have one or more “field trips” to the dog park, we can arrange these, too. If your pooch loves to play “catch”, we’ll make that a regular part of each day - what we do, “activity-wise” is really up to you. I do everything I can to keep your home clean, safe, and ready for your return. My strict NO VISITOR policy is always adhered to, and I send you photos of your dogs and cats along with behavioral updates (frequency of updates is up to each client - once or twice a day to several; many clients who have repeatedly used my overnight and partial or full daytime “out of town” services feel their need for frequent updates lessens over time - but I send them anyway...plant care if needed, taking in mail, newspapers, watering plants, and ensuring your home appears “lived in,” etc. You’ll return to a clean-as-you-left it home, with your well cared-for pet eagerly awaiting their happy reunion with you. Note: additional dogs: 5.00 per dog per night; cat care in addition to dog care is negotiable.
