I am a charmer with animals. I obtain and maintain their respect so that they are calm and happy with me. I am intuitive and smart with animals. I believe in good exercise and fresh water! I keep,animals safe. Cats need stimulation so I proved that in home only. As a former licensed clinical social worker, you can count on me to be 100% reliable and responsible. I follow your lead, as you are their parents. I have worked with animals my entire life, walking, home sitting, overnights, training and grooming. I started my career at age 16 staying overnight for a week at a time with 3 horses and a huge dog...and a child! I am a retired social worker and I am looking for more business to augment the work I have begun since I moved from New York to Asheville this year.

Betsey is a compassionate and intuitive animal lover. I have witnessed and experienced firsthand Betsey's love for animals. She was excellent with my toy poodle, Bobbi. We also have several felines which she cared for tenderly. I highly recommend her services.
I have known Betsey for several years and have always found her to be caring and responsible - a great combination. I've seen what good care she gives to her own animals and wouldn't hesitate to leave mine with her because I know she'd treat them like her own.

I would like to know about any aggression and/or prior bites. I don’t have a breed preference, yet prefer dogs 50 lbs and under. I would like to know their comfortable places at home as well as the places where they are comfortable on walks, eating habits, and where is the leash kept!? Veterinary contact and emergency veterinary contact. Personal emergency contact. ITS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT I CAN VISIT LATE AND EARLY IN THE MORNINGS, BUT I DO NOT SLEEP OVER!
A typical day
Walks that include smelling. I will go where ever you are comfortable. If a dog likes to play fetch or catch I will do that. Dogs and I do a lot of talking with each other. I pet, massage and scratch them, and if you would like, I would love to brush them. I can provide some grooming for small dogs.
