Hello! I am a dog lover and am available to love and care for your fur child. I am the parent of a seventeen year old animal lover who plans to be a vet. I call my son Doctor Doolittle as somehow we keep acquiring more pets in an NYC apartment (Fish, Chameleon, 2 dogs!) I’m also mom of a four year old Brussels Griffon, Loki, and a one year old Brussels Griffon, Ripley, who are the loves of my life. My home is open to your friendly dogs! If your dog does not get along with other dogs, please keep looking for a sitter :) Loki is an extremely well behaved guy, a registered service animal and very friendly with other pets! He loves to play! He is house trained and your pet should be too, please! :) Ripley is an adorable young lady and the perfect companion for Loki. She is the sweetest and most loving little angel. She spends her days following Loki around and giving him kisses. Caring for animals is among my highest priorities and I often volunteer at Sean Casey and the ASPCA. Please consider me for a short or extended pet stay for your pet. I spend most of my free time either volunteering or hanging out with Loki and Ripley and enjoying New York’s great dog friendly parks and restaurants. (That was pre-Covid; now I lay on the couch with my dogs for what seems like forever!) I am here to help with anything your dog needs!

My pup, Frannie, loved staying with Bethany and Loki! Bethany was professional and communicative throughout the process - we met beforehand to introduce Loki and Frannie and Bethany sent regular updates (1-2 times per day) during the stay. When I picked Frannie up, she was super happy and clearly had a fantastic time while I was away. Bethany will be my go-to pet sitter moving forward!
Bethany was incredibly sweet to my dog and very communicative with updates and pictures throughout my dog's stay. From the moment I met her at our meet-n-greet, she put me right at ease and I immediately felt like I had nothing to worry about leaving my dog in her care. This proved to be the case during my dog's week at her home. My dog seemed very content at her house and got along great with her sweet dog Loki. In addition to facilitating potty breaks, walks, feedings, and some dog snuggles, Bethany even took the time to brush my dog's massively fluffy hair out. I would use her again in a heartbeat, and would fully recommend her to anyone looking for excellent care.
I left Simba with Bethany for 6 days while I was out of town. She kept me informed with everything he has done, how many times he was fed and how long his walks were. She also sent me tons of wonderful pictures of him which made me feel at ease. Usually I have board with another sitter but due to health issues I was glad that Bethany was able to watch him at the last minute. Simba had a few accidents which worried me but Bethany was very understanding with Simba and was able to care for him throughout the time being away.
Bethany was a wonderful sitter for my Japanese Chin, Dennis. I went away for a long weekend and Bethany sent me tons of photos and updates on how Dennis was doing. Dennis needs eye drops every day and has a skin condition and Bethany had no issues with giving Dennis his medications. Bethany will be my go-to sitter going forward for sure! Also, Dennis made a great new friend in Bethany's Brussels Griffon, Loki.

Is your dog potty trained? Accidents happen, but please make sure your doggy is fully potty trained before asking for them to stay with me. I love my home and want your dog to love and respect it, also! Does your dog get along with other dogs? This is critical! Loki and Ripley will play for hours and are not aggressive at all! Please make sure your babies are not aggressive either.
A typical day
My favorite thing to do when watching my client’s pets is to photograph them. I love photography and dogs and it’s great practice for me. My clients always love receiving their beautiful pictures while they’re away from their beloved animals. I have a portfolio I keep of all of my client’s pets that I look back on to remember how cutie patootie all the babies I have watched are.
