To begin my full time pet owner experience, I raised a service dog for Susquehanna Service Dogs and also dog sat for Susquehanna Service Dogs. This included house training, clicker training, taking the dog out in public and having him with us around the clock, everywhere we went. He ended up being used as a therapy dog for an autistic child. It was extremely rewarding, and we ended up falling in love with the sweet, energetic yellow lab. Shortly after he went into service, we adopted our own dog from a local rescue when he was only 7 weeks old. He went on runs with my husband, played ball in the yard with my boys, happily cleaned our after meal dishes and dropped food bits, and brought lots of joy to our family. Sadly he passed away in the spring. We spent the summer caring for many dogs of people we know and loved every minute of it. We are excited to meet you and your dog/dogs. We can take multiple dogs if you agree to meet before hand and introduce the dogs. We want everyone to feel safe, loved, and like this is their 2nd home. I am a stay at home mom and I have 3 little boys who love to love on and play with/walk/snuggle the dogs.
