I never had pets growing up so I didn't know how much of a dog person I was until I was an adult. I like to think that one reason I am so obsessed with dogs is because I am making up for lost time :) After college I moved in with a good friend of mine. She had a huge dog named Kodi (half wolf/half German Shepherd). I loved him. I took care of him when she was out of town. After a few years I happened to get a tiny yorkie puppy named Hugo from a friend. The rest is history and I joined the crazy dog mom club. Shortly after getting Hugo we also adopted my husband's childhood dog when his parents could no longer care for her. She lived until the ripe old age of 18 with us. I had a hard time finding people to watch my dogs (very picky) and have loved using Rover. Its hard to have fun on vacation or be focused on work if you aren't totally confident that your fur friend is being taken care of. My little guy is very active. We take him for lots of walks and hikes and would love to take your dog along. I have taken care of many types and ages of dogs and have loved them all. I can't think of a better way to spend a day than being outside and surrounded by dogs. [I will always send you text updates with pictures!]
