Pet care experience
I have always had dogs in my life. My family had multiple dogs, mostly labs, throughout my childhood. I got my first dog in my junior year in college. An eight-year-old Alaskan Husky mix. I had the privilege of caring for him for the last three years of his life. In 2021 I brought home a five-year-old bully breed and worked him through reactivity issues. In 2022 I got my very first puppy, she was 3 months old when I brought her home and now she is going through her “teenage” years. Both of my dogs travel with me throughout the spring and summer. I have completed dog handling training with the Idaho Humane Society and have walked many shelter dogs. I have experienced every stage of a dog’s life and am happy to spend time with your dog whether it is a slow, short walk for a senior dog or a long, fast paced walk to work off puppy energy.

I can’t tell you how happy I was to find Bethany! She watches my adorable but somewhat crazy golden retriever puppy weekly while I’m working. She gives amazingly thorough updates and even continues our training that we have started with him. She’s incredible and I hope we get to keep her for a long time to come!
As always Bethany goes above and beyond for my pack, they love her and we love her.
Bethany was awesome she took great care of our pup! She stopped by the night before we needed her to meet us and our pup which made giving her all the necessary instructions sooo much easier. Milo seems like he had a great day with her and my wife and I were able to enjoy a ski day with total peace of mind. Bethany will be our go to sitter in the future!

Both of my dogs are crate trained. I have a second bedroom that I could crate another dog in. Dogs would go on individual walks.

Any behaviors specific to your dog ie anything unusual that scares them. Any allergies. How are they around other dogs or children. Training method preference.
A typical day
I like to keep dogs in familiar areas. Where do they typically go for walks? We can walk the neighborhood or a nearby park or trail. I do not take dogs to dog parks. I am happy to play fetch or frisbee if that makes the puppy happy.

Availability
I am a full time engineer who works from home-part. I can work in a 30 minute walk at lunch time or stop by after work. I have more availability on the weekends.
