Pet care experience
I started working at an animal hospital when I was 16 years old and have cared for animals ever since. I am trained in administering prescription oral and injectable medications to dogs (small and large), cats, horses, and rodents. I have experience with home medical visits and emergency situations. I studied Animal Science at Purdue University and graduated in May of 2015. Here, I volunteered at the Columbian Park Zoo and the Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Neurology unit. I was also involved in many animal related clubs. After I graduated, I began working at Eli Lilly & Company as a Biologist where I was active in the Canine Unwind initiative to promote local adoptions and employee happiness. I have since moved to Kirkland to enjoy the beautiful pacific northwest with my husband and 2 wonderful dog children:) I will be home full-time with plenty of time to give to your fur babies. They will be treated as my own with my undivided attention!

When our regular sitter was unavailable for Tugg (our 3 y/o Aussiedoodle), we turned to Rover.com and were thrilled to find Bethany. It was clear from Bethany's credentials that she was qualified to care for Tugg and we were happy that he would have her two doggies as playmates. Still...it's always hard to leave your very loved pet with someone new. Well, as soon as we had our meet and greet, we were at complete ease as it was clear through Bethany's questions, demeanor and interactions with Tugg that he was in for a stress free and fun time. Bethany sent us pictures and videos (even a birthday video for our son from Tugg) and she made spot-on observations about him. He also received love from Bethany's husband and enjoyed playing at the park with her pups. Tugg is looking forward to the next time we have to leave him ; )
Bethany is the best pet sitter, ever! She took outstanding care of our fur bear while we were away. We appreciate the great concern she extended making sure our dog was comfortable in her new environment, getting sufficient and frequent daily exercise, playtime and all around going the extra mile to ensure our dog felt at home away from home. It was great having peace of mind knowing our pet was in excellent care!
I would totally recommend using Bethany as a sitter for your 4 legged babies! She is very educated in everything animal. As well as just being a loving compassionate animal advocate!!!
