I enjoy meeting dogs and learning about their unique personalities. Dogs see the world and people differently than humans do, in a way that's beautiful. If your pup stayed with me, we would start our morning with a potty break, some breakfast and then we would either go for a walk around the neighborhood or head out to the beach to spend some time playing. We would also have some downtime around the middle of the day for us both to rest, and then we would go for another walk before I headed to work in the evening. I like to head down to Ocean Beach and walk along the water for a while and if your pup is good off leash, we can play a little fetch. We would take some time to explore the dunes before walking back uphill to the city. I spend most of my spare time hiking around the Bay Area, walking around San Francisco or surfing in the Pacific Ocean. My whole life I’ve wanted a dog, but as a child I didn't have a dog of my own, despite desperately wanting one so I “adopted” my best friend's Golden Retriever, which taught me how to be confident in interacting with dogs from a young age. By the time I finally got a dog at the age of 14 I felt confident in learning to love and train her and when I was a teenager, I started picking up dog sitting gigs for teachers and friends, which I continued to do throughout my college years. I've also taken care of cats and birds also -- I think cats are fun because they have their own agenda and opinions on life -- and birds are extremely clever and you can see that when you watch them play and interact with you. As a Rover sitter, I take customer service very seriously and I believe it is all about paying attention to clients and their pets.
