Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up around dogs and love taking care of family and friends 4-legged members of the family! In July 2022 we bought home our own bundle of energy, Obi, a full of character dachshund x toy poodle. Before, and since getting Obi, I have always looked after dogs for family and friends ranging in sizes and backgrounds. From dachshunds, to German shepherds and Romanian rescue dogs, I’ve loved giving them all the care, love and attention they deserve whilst their owners are away.

Our dog Simba absolutely loved his stay at Bethany’s. Bethany was extremely flexible, and kept us updated with lots of photos and messages. Very accommodating with feeding, playing, and cuddling Simba! We’ll definitely use Bethany when we are in the area.

I have a very friendly dog who loves nothing more than making fury friends and having a good run around in the fenced garden and when we go on walks locally. Dogs have always been treated as a member of the family in our household, being showered with love and always being offered cuddles on the sofa and even morning and evening snuggles in bed! We love going for long walks and have some very exciting places nearby to explore, from Bramcote Hills park right on our doorstep, to Wollaton Park a short 5 minute drive away, we’ll never be left struggling to find new places to explore!

A typical day
We have some fantastic local walks that we can go and explore - some of which are on our doorstep, and for dogs happy to take a short journey in a car, there’s many more around a 5-10 minute drive away! We love to investigate the sights and smells of new and exciting places!

Availability
I work full-time as a primary school teacher so can primarily do weekends when I am at home all day, however during school holidays I will be at home the majority of the time during the week too. My partner, who is also a massive dog lover, frequently works from home during the week and is around in the house most days, so we can offer midweek boarding/ daycare if needed - if a date isn’t available, feel free to drop us a message and we’ll see what we can do, we are happy to work flexibly where possible to try and meet your needs.
